Clan of the Angry Monkey (or ClanAM) began in 1998 as a small collection of friends who would gather weekly to play Quake II under Linux and Windows. The first members were Sam Hart (Sinister_Sam, Maior), Justin Lebreck (Raptor, Ghost, Phoenix, Phantom), and Jacob Greig (Atoll, Cannon).

Now ClanAM consists of two distinct groups: ClanAM proper and ClanAM FFXI.

ClanAM proper plays primarily FPS's. They usually play Unreal Tournament 2004, but still frequent the original Unreal Tournament in certain mods (such as WeaponLords). You can find ClanAM proper's website here.

ClanAM FFXI is a new subgroup of ClanAM dedicated to players of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XI. This website is the ClanAM FFXI site. Unlike ClanAM proper, ClanAM FFXI is meant to be more free form and a support to players of the game (this is principally because FFXI is more of a cooperative game rather than competitive.)

ClanAM is a clan by invitation only. If you would like to join us, then you will have to be invited by one of our members. For FFXI, simply seek one of our members out and play with them a bit. That's usually the best way to get noticed ;-)
