Hi everyone.
I just found a toolbar thats cool and can be very helpful for finding maps. It is a toolbar for the Mozilla Firefox internet browser. I was looking at the Atlas online when I went to the download page just to see what was there. I found this neat little toolbar for Firefox. It has a tab that lets you pick a specific map that you are looking for and then it loads it from FFXI-Atlas. You can find the download Here.
The Firefox browser is cool because you only need to open one window for all your pages you want to look at, it has a different tab for each new page. So, you can close out each tab, or when your all done on the net you can close down all your pages at once. Also, I find that Firefox has a better pop up blocker than your standered Internet Explorer, not including if you install any that you have had to purchase. Yahoo's pop up blocker is ok, but it can sometimes be problematic if you WANT to load a specific link. With Firefox you can right click and open the link in a new tab.
This helps out in the fact that you cah have say 10 pages open and only have one application on your start bar. And this helps with the speed of finding a previouse page you have opened.
cool
seems like an interesting find
